Are
you ready to make positive lifestyle changes, however big
or small? Become part of the growing nationwide trend of
communities working to reduce chronic disease and improve
quality of life. Balancing work, family, physical and mental
health are important to our overall well-being, but can
be challenging. Take It Off Hawaii offers tips and tricks
to help you take the important first step to start you on
your journey of wellness!
Take It Off Hawaii is a 12-week
community wellness program that encourages residents of Hawaii
Island to improve their lifestyle. The goal is to
reduce the incidence of chronic disease through improved nutrition
and increased physical activity.
Take The Challenge! Teams of
five or more members will join the challenge to compete for
great prizes over a period of twelve weeks as they lose weight
and take steps to become healthier. See Qualifying
Guidelines. Come to a weigh-in/orientation where your
starting weight will be recorded. Competition is based on
the number of lifestyle points earned. Click here to see a
sampling of Lifestyle
Points.
